Brandi Mack

Brandi Mack is a mother, holistic health educator, therapeutic massage therapist, and permaculture designer. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Service Management and a certification from Star Hawk’s Earth Activist Training. Brandi has worked and trained in the youth development sector for 15 years.

Brandi currently is the national director of The Butterfly Movement, a network committed to “Supporting healing of wounds in our soul (through rebuilding and reframing our emotional selves), planting a seed of hope as we regenerate and reconnect our hearts and our hands to the earth, leading ultimately to manifestation in the soil of our reactivated lives“.  

Brandi uses permaculture principles to support individuals and communities connection back to the land.  Brandi offers a Farmers Market basket full of workshops and trainings to help your rural or urban garden grow.

Tara Anastasi

Tara Anastasi believes in education and relationships as tools of social justice. She is an urban farmer, food justice advocate, and community organizer with 14 years on the ground. Tara has worked with diverse communities from NYC, Boston, Philadelphia, and San Francisco. She has experience working with public schools, non-profit management, and city agencies.

Tara holds a Bachelor’s in Environmental Biology from Barnard College of Columbia University and a Master’s in Agriculture, Food, and the Environment from Tufts University. She is also a certified Integrative Wellness and Life Coach and Staff Development Consultant.

Sahiti Karempudi

Sahiti is the Co-founder and Director of Partnerships at Dahlia Community Engagement. Previously, she worked at San Francisco Parks Alliance as a Partnerships Manager, working with neighbors, other non-profit organizations, city departments, and City Hall to create innovative stewardship models and creative public spaces. Prior to San Francisco Parks Alliance, Sahiti interned at San Francisco’s Department of the Environment, working on internal city campaigns for clean transportation programs and analyzing Departmental Climate Action Plans.

Before moving to the Bay Area, Sahiti was awarded a JD and a Masters in Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School. She worked at Delta Airlines in Atlanta, assisting with the first in-flight recycling program in the country. She also earned a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Emory University, with a focus on climate change. Sahiti was able to conduct research in the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest, focusing on microclimate change.  In her free time, she loves to SoulCycle, read, and runs the Political Postcard a Day project.
