Sahiti Karempudi
Sahiti is the Co-founder and Director of Partnerships at Dahlia Community Engagement. Previously, she worked at San Francisco Parks Alliance as a Partnerships Manager, working with neighbors, other non-profit organizations, city departments, and City Hall to create innovative stewardship models and creative public spaces. Prior to San Francisco Parks Alliance, Sahiti interned at San Francisco’s Department of the Environment, working on internal city campaigns for clean transportation programs and analyzing Departmental Climate Action Plans.
Before moving to the Bay Area, Sahiti was awarded a JD and a Masters in Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School. She worked at Delta Airlines in Atlanta, assisting with the first in-flight recycling program in the country. She also earned a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Emory University, with a focus on climate change. Sahiti was able to conduct research in the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest, focusing on microclimate change. In her free time, she loves to SoulCycle, read, and runs the Political Postcard a Day project.
